Orlando, FL, September 7, 2024 – AEM Accounting Solutions, Central Florida’s leading online accounting firm, announced the recent appointment of Alexander T Manjarres as Chief Operating Officer. With experience in organizational leadership, process improvement, and software, Alexander brings new insights to AEM Accounting Solutions’ leadership team.
At AEM Accounting Solutions, Alexander as COO will oversee Technical Operations, Product Strategy, and Online Marketing, and will play a key role in driving the enterprise’s continued growth.
“I’m elated to be joining the leadership team of AEM Accounting Solutions,” Alexander said. “The chance to work alongside my brother Armando and help scale up the business via product strategy and development is an exciting new challenge, that I am ready to take on.”
Prior to joining AEM Accounting Solutions in July of 2024, Alexander was a software engineer out of college at Lockheed Martin Corporation, an American Aerospace and Defense manufacturer, for 7 years. He left as a Level 4 Staff Software Engineer at the age of 26, an uncommon feat. He served as a Product Owner and technical lead on various efforts related to a large-scale, highly-visible military program with tight deadlines and customers all over the world.
Through process improvements and new software tools he designed and implemented or otherwise oversaw, his teams saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in lifetime program costs in different areas of development and testing. He is eager to bring this expertise in processes and improvements to the clients and partners of AEM Accounting Solutions.
Alex earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Florida Southern College, and before that, his Associate’s in Arts Degree from Polk State College, both in Lakeland, Florida. He holds the distinction as the youngest to ever graduate from each institution (age 15 at Polk State College, age 17 at Florida Southern College). Directly after Florida Southern College, he also attended a full semester at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy before dropping out of the program to join the workforce.
He also holds various certifications in agile software development leadership from Scrum.org.
